Clouds III
The third instalment of cloud week in my '20 Paintings in 20 Days' challenge, the first week’s theme was Waterlilies and the theme for this week is CLOUDS.
Oil on canvas, stretched 60 × 70cm
The objective with this challenge was to practice being loose, spontaneous, expressive and joyful with my painting.
I often spend months on a painting building up layers of paint with lots of fine detail in the final stages. It is a process that creates a highly polished result but with this collection I am intrigued to see what kind of energy and vibrancy comes through with having no more than a day to complete the piece. It will allow me to not get stuck on details but rather focus on the colour and compositions to give life to the artwork.
It also means that I can offer a range of original oil paintings at an affordable price.
This artwork is stretched and ready to hang, framing is available to customers for an additional fee.
