Art is socially, spiritually and culturally important. As we head at an ever increasing pace into the technological revolution and age of AI the role of the artist is more important than ever. If you believe that God is the creator and we are created in his image then we too are made to be creative and it is through expressing that part of our nature that we commune with our maker and each other . If you don’t believe in God then maybe you will agree that the soul of humanity is expressed and shared through the arts. Our world is predominantly driven by capitalist and consumerist values where maximising profits and efficiency is the goal. This is totally at odds with creating genuine art. A world where artists can no longer afford to create will be a world without a soul. We need support and Patrons to keep us going.

My aim is to push further into the sanctity of creating art, not to be commercially viable but to express something real, human and to the best of my ability. To communicate beauty and speak to the soul of people.
